MORMAG RAM Fe

  • 97% magnesia, dry ramming or vibrating refractory based on high purity magnesite and special binders.

  • Sinters into a dense lining, highly resistant to ferrous metal attack.

MORMAG RAM Fe boasts exceptional purity and volume stability with extremely high refractoriness to >2000*C. Alter initial firing, the product operates with a thick, dense sintered hot face layer, the unsintered layer behind the hot face being designed to eliminate crack formation.

Thermal Ceramics Australia offers a range of basic monolithics made from high purity raw materials for many applications in the ferrous and nonferrous industries. This includes high magnesia, magnesia-chrome and spinel products for use in casting, gunning, ramming, dry vibratable and mortar specifications.

Strict adherence to quality control measures has enabled each Thermal Ceramics Australia location to gain AS3902/IS09002 quality standard accreditation. All products are manufactured according to these tight standards, ensuring consistent high quality.
