MORAL BOND VC is a volume stable, highly refractory mortar that shows no signs of flowing from pier testing joints at 16000C.
This mortar is specifically designed for adhesion of ceramic fibre tiles onto a variety of surfaces including steel, mesh and existing refractory linings. MORAL BOND VC can also be used for bonding fireclay brick.
Thermal Ceramics Australia has developed a complete range of mortars to complement dense, insulating and basic bricks available. In both heat and air setting versions, the mortars allow ease of , use whilst maintaining exceptional resistance to high temperature industrial environments.
Strict adherence to quality control measures has enabled each Thermal Ceramics Australia location to gain AS3902/IS09002 quality standard accreditation. All products are manufactured according to these tight standards, ensuring consistent high quality.
TYPICAL APPLICATION DATA
The mortar should be trowelled firmly into the fibre of the module to assist in mortar penetration and adhesion to the tile. The joint bed should then be built up to a maximum of 5mm thickness for best adhesion to the refractory surface.
Fresh, clean water can be used to thin the cement to the correct consistency for trowelling if required.
